Antique Edwardian (1901-1914) earrings featuring faux pearl and marcasite stones set into a silver setting. Marcasites are Pyrite also known as Fools Gold. It was used in jewellery due to it's ability to catch the light, giving a diamond effect. These pretty round earrings are elegant in design and sit comfortably on the ear without dropping. The wire and the earring setting at silver.
